Are Focusrite products compatible with OSX Yosemite (Public Beta)?

Saffire firewire range

Works with Yosemite? YES

Points of note : Latest beta version of Saffire MixControl required. Please send any feedback to beta@focusrite.com.

 

Scarlett 2i2, Scarlett 2i4

Works with Yosemite? YES

Points of note : Initial testing shows no issues.

 

Scarlett 8i6, Scarlett 18i6, Scarlett 6i6, Scarlett 18i8, Scarlett 18i20

Works with Yosemite? YES

Points of note : Initial testing shows no issues.

 


Saffire 6 USB

Works with Yosemite? YES (USB 2.0 version)

Points of note : The Saffire 6 USB MkII (USB 2.0) works as a plug and play device - no driver required. If you own the Saffire 6 USB MkI (USB 1.1), please keep an eye out here for the forthcoming beta. If you are unsure whether your unit is a USB 1.1 or 2.0 version, please check the text below the USB port on the back of the device.

Works with Yosemite? NO

We do not recommend running RedNet on Yosemite at this time.

Points of note : RedNet Control currently has no known issues. RedNet PCIe card is not yet compatible. If you are having problems with Dante Controller please make sure you are running Java 6.
